Product Development
Product development is the creative and technical process of turning ideas and designs into finished garments that meet market demands and buyer expectations. At ExploreTex, our product development team works closely with clients to understand their vision, brand identity, and target audience. We assist in creating tech packs, selecting suitable fabrics, trims, and accessories, and developing prototypes or samples to refine fit, style, and functionality. Our experienced designers and technicians ensure that every detail—from stitching to finishing—is aligned with quality standards and production feasibility. We also integrate the latest trends and sustainable practices to deliver innovative, stylish, and cost-effective products. This collaborative process helps reduce lead times, minimize errors, and bring new collections to market quickly and successfully.
Fabrics & Trims Sourcing
Fabrics and trims sourcing is a crucial step in the garment production process, involving the procurement of high-quality materials that meet the buyer’s specifications and standards. At ExploreTex, we leverage our extensive global network of trusted suppliers to source a wide variety of fabrics—natural, synthetic, and blended—as well as trims like buttons, zippers, labels, and accessories. We prioritize quality, compliance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness to ensure every material supports the desired look, feel, and durability of the final product. Our sourcing team carefully evaluates supplier certifications, lead times, and price competitiveness while coordinating sample approvals with buyers. By managing this process efficiently, ExploreTex ensures that production runs smoothly with timely delivery of materials, reducing risks and maintaining product consistency from start to finish.

Sampling
Sampling is the process of creating prototype garments to test and finalize the design, fit, materials, and construction before starting mass production. At ExploreTex, we develop various types of samples including proto samples, fit samples, and pre-production samples (PPS) based on the buyer’s requirements. These samples allow buyers to review and approve every detail such as fabric choice, stitching, sizing, trims, and finishing. We work closely with our production and design teams to make any necessary adjustments quickly, ensuring the final product meets quality and design expectations. Our sampling process helps minimize errors, reduce lead times, and provides a clear production roadmap, resulting in efficient and successful bulk manufacturing.
QC of Samples
Quality Control (QC) of samples is a critical step to ensure that prototype garments meet the required standards before moving into full production. At ExploreTex, our QC team thoroughly inspects every sample for accuracy in design, stitching, fabric quality, fit, color consistency, and finishing details. We compare samples against the approved tech pack and buyer specifications to identify any discrepancies or defects early. This process includes measuring dimensions, checking thread tension, examining embroidery or printing quality, and testing material performance. By rigorously assessing samples, we ensure that any issues are addressed promptly, minimizing risks and guaranteeing that the final bulk production will align with the highest quality standards and buyer expectations.
